Now that you have voted, don't forget to go to your precinct convention on election night at 8 pm. From the precinct convention, you could get to go as a delegate/alternate delegate to the county convention; from there, you could get elected to go to the state convention. All politics is local. These conventions are where the party platform is voted on; you can bring propositions to your precinct conventions if you want to see them adopted and if you want to have a say in your party platform, you need to participate in these conventions. It is time for East Austinites to come to the table and have input into our government. Your voice matters! We need to see you get involved.
Early voting ends on February 26th at 7 pm. In early voting, you can vote at any voting location that is convenient for you. On election day, you can vote only at your precinct. So if you anticipate having problems getting to your polling place on election day, early voting is ideal. Here is a listing of the early voting locations:
